This set of bookends was Wheelthrown as one and then cut in half. Backs were added using clay slabs with a score and slip method. Each planter has an attached saucer as well as 2 drainage holes. These pieces were carefully glazed with a brush to achieve the drippy transition from pink to green. Knobby feet were added to the base of each planter to elevate it a bit off the shelf.
