This vase was Wheelthrown and glazes have been applied by hand using a brush. At the mouth of the vase are 11 handmade lilies in shades of purple. After glazes were applied it was fired to over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Once cool, a band along the bottom and each lily stamen was painted with a 22k gold luster glaze and then refired.
