Colorburst Botanica Series has been a wonderfully fun time for me! This one is the third and they are all united in their color palette, juxtaposition and theme. On this one I added some mixed media floral elements to make it dimensional. The Impasto Style technique lends itself beautifully to bringing paintings off the canvas. Charcoal markings along with oil stick swirls and flowers add a reminiscent feel to the piece. I call my work- Art for the Senses! They are to be discussed, viewed and Yes, even touched! They are protected either by varnish or resin. The bright colors are here to make you feel something! That is what Art is! I hope it is happiness!
