Biography

Jeannette Eckman began her career as a schoolteacher but “soon became immersed in Delaware History and various commemorations.” She was a well-known Delaware Historian who contributed to a number of projects. Eckman was also the author of ‘Crane Hook on the Delaware,’ ‘Delaware, A Guide to the First State,’ ‘The Kinkheads of Delaware as Pioneers in Minnesota,’ and ‘New Castle on the Delaware.’
