ARTIST STATEMENT
My piece uses acrylic paint, alcohol ink & gold leaf to portray the waves of motherhood.

Depicting the ever changing, never slowing, unexpected waves of rediscovering your sense of identity; while navigating the pressures to immediately master your new purpose of raising a human being. While simultaneously taking care of yourself, your partner, your pets, the home, your career, or aspirations. And, how even through all this chaos, A Mother’s Love remains unwavering and steadfast. Sending light to the darkest corners and smoothing the roughest of seas around her.
