Part of my ongoing fascination with the metaphors held within reflections, especially in an urban context and old architecture reflecting in newer facades.
I have lived almost exclusively in urban environments for most of my life. Even though windows are ubiquitous aspects of nearly every edifice that makes up our built environment, I continue to find myself fascinated by them.
Windows play a significant role in determining the atmosphere of a place, both externally and internally. The contrast between their everyday, ordinary status and the versatility they possess as artistic subjects and motifs only adds to my intrigue.
