Small, oil on canvas, one of a small series: A Wish, A Prayer, A Breath (sold). Each of the three represent hopeful moments, bits of joy found in the daily practice of painting. Under layers were sanded and scraped away, revealing a smooth surface for simple white paint and dynamic color to emerge on top.
