Black portfolio comprising of 16 loose sheets printed on thick card-stock measuring 8.5 " x 9.25". Each sheet depicts a photograph and/or illustration derived from the video stills of the artist in question. One bi-folded sheet is dedicated with an introduction and notes on the exhibition by David A. Ross. Lightest rubbing to the extremities of the portfolio, otherwise the contents and sheets remain bright, clean, and unmarked with tight, sound binding; near fine. Artists represented include: Jean Otth, Alberto Pirelli, Urs Luthi, Bill Viola, Vito Acconci, John Baldessari, Daniel Buren, Pierpaola Calzolari, Joseph Beuys, Joan Jonas, Allan Kaprow, Alvin Lucier, Jannis Kounellis, Giulio Paolini, and Charlemagne Palestine. "We at Art/Tapes/22 feel that video is at the forefront of artistic concerns and its profound structural immediacy will undoubtedly launch it to a vital position in the future (in terms of the reorganization of both the art activity and communication about it).".
