This original, signed, and numbered print by Dorr Bothwell has not been previously owned. This print was included in a generous donation to the Mendocino Art Center by the artist and her estate. An image of this print has been published in the book, "Dorr Bothwell, Straws in the Wind, An Artist's Life as told to Bruce Levene", on page 115. Mola is a traditional textile art form of the indigenous Guna people of Panama. In Dulegaya, the native language of the Guna people, "mola" means clothing or shirt. The mola art form is integral to the cultural identity of the Guna People.
