This is an original serigraph by Dorr Bothwell. The word Triskele describes an ancient triple spiral symbol of spirituality. The name comes from the Greek words "Tri" and "Skelos," which translate to mean "three legs." This symbol has ancient origins within Irish culture and is said to be an important spiritual symbol.
The measure for this work describes the actual print area not including the signature or title in pencil.
This serigraph appears to have been framed previously. The paper shows scars where it had previously been taped to a picture frame mat. This does not diminish or compromise the artwork.
