This is an estate print of Emmy Lou Packard's, "Enemy Casualty, Vietnam ". This print shows "Estate Print" in the print title location. The print also is signed "Packard/DC. The DC stands for Don Cairns who is Packard's son from her first marriage. It is uncertain what year this print was created although the original print was made in 1951. This print block image may have been originally done as a protest to the Korean War and was repurposed as a protest piece for the Vietnam War. This print came to the Mendocino Art Center through a generous donation by Don Cairns and the Packard family estate.
