Tucked away in the countryside in Batesville, MS, this Buddhist monastery was established by Vietnamese monk Thich Nhat Hanh. who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967 by Martin Luther King. The Pagoda has a large bell which they ring at sunrise and sunset, chanting sung verses.
