Calaca #92. Full face mask used in performances by Arizona theater and dance companies. It has light purple, blue, and burgundy ribbons attached to the sides. On the forehead is a large pale blue circular design with a smaller orange circle at the center. The eyes are outlined in bright green and orange. The nose is a light purple, and the cheeks have blue and orange designs similar to the forehead. The teeth are outlined in pink and light purple. On the chin is a bright green circle with two orange dots outside and one yellow dot at the center.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
