Full-face calaca skeleton mask made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer. Orange V shapes in different orientations across the forehead with a blue dot with orange line around it in center. Two orange dots and swooshes and blue lines along the temples. Orange paint in a triangle shape above the eyes. Curvy orange lines along cheeks and down the jaw lines. Orange upside down W shape on chin. Teeth are outlined in blue and pink.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
Used by Axé Capoeira AZ during their drum processions at Cultural Coalition festivals. These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
