My early work focused on the cycles of change on a physical level, the energy between creation and destruction as evidence of these polarities. This phase was titled The Impact Phenomenon and consisted of steel sculptures and live performances as an analogy for this thriving force within our visible world. The process of deforming heavy steel plates with pure physical power was the artistic outcome of this concept, demonstrating change by using destructive methods in order to generate something new.
