The painting entitled “Midnight Horizon” imagines a city where buildings bridge between earth and sky to create a new kind of horizon that is only experienced in the middle of the night. As seen from afar, the earth appears to communicate with the stars as a new second skyline floats above the surface of the earth. Each night, the architectural light frequencies make certain stars brightly shine in different colors to echo harmonic patterns of city life. In this place, the stars are an extension of the city in a way that turns each day into a glorious nighttime symphony.
