I created this peace sign artwork for World Peace Day 2022:)
It came to life when I added the Quinacridone Magenta to the peace sign. Originally I was planning to reverse the image, paint a solid color on the background and leave the peace sign with the collage elements. Surprises in art!
There are many elements in the original 11x14 mixed media art on canvas including
found papers, acrylic paints & mediums, collage techniques, Tab and more!
It was such a fun artwork to create. The edges of the gallery wrapped canvas are painted black.
