Hi my name is Tom Acevedo, and this is what I do to tell the story in a painting. It starts with sitting quietly on a cushion and trying to empty my mind. Through meditation a seed of an idea is revealed a little pin prick of light in the dark can come in and there it is, an image . My heart races when one does show itself, and I find my frenetic mind I want you to be calm anymore I want to add to it and subtract from it what is the story I ask myself or whatever deities have gifted me with this. Because once I have the storyline, and I can give it some wine and let it swim. How can this help someone I ask , not everyone but some and lose that I can't help I can tell even more of a story you can bend and shape itself to whatever people want to see in it. That's what I love about painting at least that's what I love about my painting is that I think people can look at it and continue to have a story evolve. A moment in time revealed
