The original print, “A Somerset Afternoon” was conceived as a distillation of the winter sunlight on this classic Bermuda House. It was the rectory home for many years. The long shadows speak of the winter sun. I would see this image from my seat on the bus while at residency in the early days of the Arts Centre at Dockyard, Somerset Bermuda… Once the edition was all finished I added collage to several pieces adding to the meaning of the piece.
