A painting that looks like a mosaic. Perhaps this was a small scale mock-up. Chiu Fung Poon was known for her mosaics. Her most renown was a 17 story mosaic on the now gone Ambassador Hotel in Hong Kong.
This oil on silk is mounted on very stiff paper which is rolled up. The image is from a book published posthumously on Poon's decorative artwork.
