I'm excited to share my latest work, Clouds of Many Voices. This 12 by 12 acrylic on wood piece draws inspiration from the historic meeting place at The Forks. The painting centers on a dome-shaped structure built from textured brown bricks, each inscribed with phrases and letters in various languages, inviting reflection on culture and community. Above, a dynamic sky of billowing white clouds contrasts with deep blues and teals, while subtle hints of foliage add a touch of nature. A looping, dark line weaves through the composition, blending architectural and abstract elements. Creating this piece was a way to explore how history, language, and environment intersect in a meaningful and expressive way.
