Eight Bells is the name that NC Wyeth gave to his Port Clyde cottage. He painted Souvenir of Eight Bells, and Bright and Fair -- Eight Bells. I was attending an artist's retreat hosted by the award-winning Mary Erickson who is friends with Helga Testorf, and that is how we came to paint there, and to have lunch with Helga.
