Every person has phases in life when they are one of these women. Sometimes we are rock solid in the center, providing stability and strength. Sometimes we are the givers, sharing ourselves with those who need us. Sometimes we are the supporters, providing strength and support to those around us. And then there are times when we are in the shadows, in need of others to show us light, to share their strength and love with us. This last year was a difficult one for me. I created this painting to honor those women in my life who hold such an important place in my life and gave me the love and support I needed. May we all take our places in the lives of others!
