Finding Gold

These blossoms were painted with a mix of two colours only, Quinacridone Gold and Neutral Tint. Colour mixing and matching is one of my specialities and something I particularly like teaching as it’s a skill artists often struggle with. I enjoy painting all the nuances of colour and tone, and by showing these blossoms enlarged, their innate beauty is displayed.
