Painted May 4 during the Frisco En Plein Air competition 100% painted en-plein air. I picked this tree because it was in a shady spot and is very expressive. I started the competition at 5 pm after work and painted until dark about 8:30 pm. This painting won an honorable mention by Judge Rusty Jones at a juried show at The Martin Place.
