Paul Allen is a Leavenworth native who received his BA from Fort Hays State University. He taught art at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri, from 1981 to 2018. In 2001, he became the lead painting instructor and Art Department Head. Allen was recognized with a Senior Faculty Service Award from the Missouri Community College Association in 2010.
