David Cross received his BA and MFA from FHSU and went on to pursue a career in art education. Cross acted as the head of the Visual Arts Department at Grace Lutheran College in Rothwell, Australia for over 20 years and his work has been featured in various international exhibtions. David Cross is an accomplished painter who's work utilizes art to reimagine seemingly mundane subjects. "When light hits an object, whether it be glass, metal, water, the human form or the everyday environment, it reflects, refracts, casts shadows and is even absorbed in the object. What I focus on is how I interpret this light as it reveals colour and form."
