Fort Worth, TX

Beauty is subversive. Hope is abstract. I paint hope through abstraction. Each painting is a declaration of beauty. Each painting is a declaration of hope.

Reflections explores the intimacy between Creator and created.

Beginning as a single surface and a myriad of layers, I sewed gold threads into the painting. The gold threads to speak of divinity.

I cut into the painting, rotated and reassembled the pieces to create a singular halo. The cutting and reassembling symbolizes a major encounter with God.

Encountering God, we are the same person and yet, different.
