Using materials intended for one purpose to serve another, Beauty in the Journey came into being with a definite mind of its own. I wanted to paint something my blind friend could enjoy.

The painting process was a collaboration between the original idea, the materials at hand, and the chaos of life in a full to overflowing home. All plans go astray. There is beauty in a plan and there is beauty in holding a plan loosely and seeing where life takes you.
