Different Fish Bird (Ichthyornis dispar), dated 95-83.5 MYA, was a powerful underwater swimmer, and possible plunge diver. It is considered close to the evolutionary line leading to present-day birds, (N. Gannet), based on its teeth, bill, and brain shape.
