This illustration was originally prepared for Dr. Jingmai O'Connor at the Field Museum of Natural History as a depiction of the morphological diversity of the Mesozoic Enantiornithine avian group for the journal Current Biology 32, R1166-October 24, 2022. Most recently it was reprinted in the New York Times "Origins" section in an article by Carl Zimmer.
