- Saccades (optic nerve)
- Anim./Multimedia-D/Exhibits
An illustration (loosely) made to illustrate “saccadesâ€, the tiny subconscious movements that the eye makes when scanning a scene. The saccades are controlled by the frontal lobe of the brain, and feedback is transmitted along the optic nerve. The brain/eye is shown here suspended in a vat of “life-supporting†fluid, with bubbles!
