A Tibetan Buddhist ceremonial conch shell with silver. The horn (Dungkar) is one of the 8 auspicious
symbols of Buddhism. It is used to start or end a ceremony.
According to L. Austine Waddell, Tibetan Buddhism, the shells are "often mounted with bronze or silver , so as to prolong the valves of the shell and deepen its note" (page 298).
