Zoomorphic jade figurine from the Hongshan culture (4700 – 2900 BCE). One side has intricate fine etchings depicting symmetrical facial features. One hole to string object punctures top of head between horns. Two holes puncture bottom of sculpture. Reverse side is flat and unadorned. Stone is burnt orange in color.
