When walking in Joseph Banks Park, I often come across the water dragons basking on the tree logs by the pond.
Most of the time they see me before I see them and the only thing that gives them away is the noise as they plop back into the water. There is a bend in the path before one reaches the area and there is always a sense of anticipation to see if they dragons can be seen that day.
