“SAN FRANCISCO”, CIRCA 1940 SIGNED ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPH BY THE AMERICAN ARTIST AND PRINTMAKER EDITH MARK MILSK (1899-1982)

This scarce lithograph titled “San Francisco”, a scene of Filbert Street looking from Telegraph Hill across San Francisco Bay to Treasure Island, is by the California artist Edith “Mark” Milsk. The lithograph is signed in pencil by the artist in the margin below the image lower right: Mark Milsk. The artist titled the lithograph in pencil in the margin below the image lower left: “San Francisco”. The lithograph also has the artist’s plate signature in the image bottom center: Mark Milsk.

The lithograph is printed on wove paper. The image size measures 9 7/8 x 8 inches. The sheet with full margins measures 12 1/2 x 9 7/8 inches. The etching comes unframed.
