“PORTRAIT OF YOUNG WOMAN” ORIGINAL PLATE SIGNED ETCHING BY POLISH-BORN FRENCH ARTIST MOISE KISLING (1891-1953)

This original etching titled “Portrait of Young Woman” is by the Polish-born French artist Moise Kisling, who is best known for his highly stylized portraits. The etching is signed in the plate (plate signed) lower right: Kisling. The etching plate mark size measures 6 7/8 x 5 inches, printed in black on Richard de Bas laid paper with the “Auvergne a la Main” watermark, the full sheet with margins measures 14 3/4 x 10 5/8 inches. This unnumbered etching is an earlier printing prior to the numbered editions on different paper. The etching comes unframed.
