“MR. BUMBLE” VINTAGE ENGLISH PUB HAND-PAINTED WOOD CHALKBOARD SIGN

This vintage hand-painted wood chalkboard sign made for an English Pub circa 1950s, features the Charles Dickens “Oliver Twist” novel character “Mr. Bumble” holding the chalkboard. The chalkboard sign, painted on 3/8 inch thick plywood, measures 31 3/4 inches high by 24 inches wide. The molding on the left, right and bottom sides of the chalkboard measures 3/4 inches in depth. Weight: 5 pounds 8 ounces.
