“CHOUETTE (OWL)”, 1967 SIGNED ORIGINAL MODERNIST ART POTTERY SCULPTURE BY THE CANADIAN ARTIST AND CERAMIST RAPHAEL GIARRUSSO (1925-1986)

This rare mid-century modern ceramic art pottery owl sculpture was made in 1967 by the Canadian artist Raphael Giarrusso, who is known for his ceramic sculpted work with aesthetic identity. The owl measures 8 1/8 inches tall and 4 7/8 inches in diameter at the widest point. Signed on the bottom with the artist’s monogram, and dated: 67. Also marked “MADE IN FRANCE”. The owl weighs 2 pounds 3 ounces.
