Series of six digital prints on fine art paper; 16x24” each & one image at 32x24.” (2017; printed in 2023)
The site of a majestic old cottonwood tree for the “Uphold (from below)” video-performance was also the setting for a series of photographic performances for the still camera that were shot between the final round of chemotherapy and surgery. The tree was struck by lightning many years ago, lost its upper canopy yet was still green with foliage and alive. Production in collaboration with photographer, Lisa Wigoda; post-production, Cherie Sampson.
