My niece is a great subject for my art. She can be a bundle of energy, running, jumping, and exploring with boundless enthusiasm. Her need for movement and her active and explorative behavior are central to her playful spirit. In this instance, she was enjoying a s'more that was so delicious. One of my earliest drawings in the new technique was something that I wanted to draw. Working with powder and brush offers varying degrees of softness and control, allowing artists to choose the best tool for achieving the desired softness in my work.
