It’s Halloween, and everyone is already prepared. Suspicious children wait for the right moment to strike.

In my atelier, I’m consumed by the thought that this celebration is over 3,000 years old, and that these Iron Age people called the Celts celebrated the end of summer on October 31, believing that the dead would rise from their graves like zombies.
This Indo-European culture is captured on my canvas, with turquoises and ruby reds. I make public their avant-garde use of color, their mythology full of symbolism, their heroism, and their arrogance.
