Wendell P. Frizzmerantz is on his way to his friend's house for a birthday party. His mother made him take an umbrella even though it's perfect outside. (Yes, he rolled his eyes.) He loves buttered toast, noodles with garlic salt, freckles on kittens, and operettas involving Hungarian folklore. He really hopes there's going to be strawberry shortcake at the party!
