Flameworked and found glass. Custom made scientific glass dome. The base and foot of the piece are both powder boxes from the 1930's to the 1950's. The larger piece is the upside down lid of an Anchor Hocking/ Fire-King piece from the 1940s-1950's. And the piece I used for the base is the upside down base of a small powder box from Akro Agate Glass c. 1930's to 1950's. The flameworked glass is reworked cullet in jade and river green from Mosser Glass and Fenton Glass. The snail is custom reproduced from an old Fenton Glass mold.
