In Yarmouth and Norfolk, there is a real, rare meteorological phenomenon where
tornadoes or waterspouts suck aquatic life and dump it over land during storms.
Whenever the cod and sea bass fall out of the sky in a concentrated squall, a being
known locally as “the great Wilbur” would magically appear in his furry jacket
holding his hand-made umbrella. Sometimes he would sing and tap his feet to the
slapping sound of fish hitting cobblestones. It as always quite a sight to behold as
Wilbur seemed to summon a small electrical field around him that caused an
ionization of air molecules, which produced a soft glow. He would let out an
exuberant bellowing laugh that could be heard for miles around.
