Airmid was a master herbalist in Irish myth and one of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Together with her father and brother they healed those injured in battle. When her brother, Miach, died at the hands of her jealous father, Airmid covered her brother’s grave with tears. 365 healing herbs grew out of that ground, one for every joint and vein in her brother’s body.
