I am fascinated with the mechanics of sight, and how the brain fills in information even though we are unable to focus everywhere at once. What do we actually see when we walk towards a glowing clearing on a hot summer day, the pale grasses gleaming against the cool interior of dense growth? I thought it would be interesting to treat the bushes and overgrowth as impressions of color, seen while on a walk to the shining fields that pulled me forward.
