My love affair with all things Vespa began when I lived in Italy, and deepened when I learned of my own extended family’s Vespa legacy in Greece. Seeking to document my growing associations and appreciation for this cultural icon, I began collecting Vespa memorabilia. A small, white replica served as the model for this collage, and a Vespa book procured in Milan provided invaluable historical context and a wealth of vintage advertising imagery. The materials I selected are primarily Italian or transportation-related and tied to my personal history and travels.
