Once upon a time, my girlfriend, Susan, and I were up Oregon's McKenzie River climbing Tidbits Mountain. We had our lunch at the top, where two Ravens showed up looking interested. As the wind picked up, they began swooping off the cliff in front of us. They'd circle around, come back and do it again. We almost got blown off the mountain, so we packed up and began to hike down. The wind was blowing clouds and sunset light through the pass above us. On a sudden intuition, I turned around and shot my camera upward without thinking. There came magical Raven, just screaming fast through the pass, loving the wind.
