I call this a soul portrait in Salt and Gold. It was taken in a mirror. It was then printed for the first time. I applied a salt crystal paste to the right side of the face and let it dry; I then brushed away the salt and rephotographed the resulting image. I printed it on transparency film and hand-gilded it in 24K gold.
